Sat 20th - CHICO - Excellent eight piece Tamala & Soul band who are bound to get your feet tapping and even get you up dancing!!

The brass section, along with a solid rhythm sound, bring out the best in the classic hit songs they cover!

Thu 25th - CAVERN BEATLES/SIXTIES TRIBUTE - First class Beatles & sixties tribute who boast three members of a Liverpool based full Beatles tribute show. This band cover the sounds of the sixties 'Cavern' bands & bands of that era including The Rolling Stones, The Kinks, etc. Their Beatles material includes not just the standard stuff like I want to hold your hand etc, but they perform some of the classic Hamburg material not often done, like 'Road Runner' 'One after 909' 'Bad Boy' as well as some from the later Beatles era 'While my guitar gently weeps' & 'Don't let me down' etc. The band wear original suits and perform using original instruments from the period!!!

They cover such monster tracks as Big Fat Mama, Ain't Gonna Work No More & 4500 Times plus the early era Hits such as Ice In The Sun. Loads of the Quo top 10 hits like Rockin' All Over The World, Don't Drive My Car, Caroline, & Down Down are also covered in a show that lasts up to three hours without a break!!!

One of the most difficult parts of any Zeppelin tribute is to take-off Robert Plants vocal range, this frontman no problem!!

If you like Rock & Roll, played in a sort of up-tempo Status Quo style then you will love this band. From their entertaining stage antics & amazing facial expressions, to the brilliant foot tappin' songs, this band always entertain!

Fri 23rd - PLAIN TRUTH - Very respected musicians/performers led by renowned guitarist Alec Johnson. Steve Bartley has played percussion with many world class bands and Simon Crumley is recognised as the current 'Mr Bass Fingers'. - Their sets contain popular covers by such artists as Keb Mo, Bonnie Rait, Sensational Alex Harvey Band, Led Zep, Jeff Beck, Gentle Giant, Fleetwood Mac, Trapeze, Jimi Hendrix, Depeche Mode, Pink Floyd and may also include some of their own material!

Thu 29th - R.E.M. TRIBUTE - STIPE - On their secong Jolly Tar gig after a fantastic debut in 2009. Stipe are a brilliant tribute to the original band and their music. They cover songs such as 'The One I Love' & 'Losing My Religion' to just about perfection!!

Sat 1st - MARK RADCLIFFE & THE BIG FIGURES - Radio 2 D.J. Mark Radcliffe returns to the Jolly Tar with his band The Big Figures to play a set of classic R&B songs, performed very much in the Dr Feelgood style & including a few of Dr Feelgood tracks!

The band played a 'warm up' gig here last year which was, infact, their first ever gig!

Their long show includes most of the hits either performed by Bob Dylan himself or were songs written by Bob & were hits for other artists!! The frontman has an uncanny look-a-like & sound-a-like tribute to the great man!

Thu 27th - KATE BUSH TRIBUTE - 'NEVER FOR EVER' The return of this excellent Kate Bush tribute show who put on a fine show, both musically & visually, and perform many of Kates hit songs and some lesser known album tracks! The lead singer 'Kate' not only has the voice, but the lloks too!! She is also a classically trained ballet dancer, thus the great stage show!! Don't miss it!!

They cover such monster tracks as Big Fat Mama, Ain't Gonna Work No More & 4500 Times plus the early era Hits such as Ice In The Sun. Loads of the Quo top 10 hits like Rockin' All Over The World, Don't Drive My Car, Caroline, & Down Down are also covered in a show that lasts up to three hours without a break!!!
